Hello Beautiful People,
I hope this reaches you well, I along with Donna Vivar from the College of Environmental Design want to invite you to our first ever Building Bridges withbridges event. The purpose of this event is to hear from the College of Environmental Design, College of Engineering, and of Natural Resources so that we are equipped with the information to demystify Cal to our prospective sisters and brothers that come up to Senior Weekend. You will hear from College Advisers about their programs, and what their colleges have to offer, what can they DO with that major, and what their specific majors are like.
This information can also be incredibly important for the retention of our communities in which we have an understanding of what Cal has to offer as a choice of study. I hope that your participation in this event will not only help a prospective Cal student when you volunteer for Senior Weekend, but also help build your path as you matriculate at Cal. This will be the first of a two-part event as next Thursday March 1st, you will hear from College of Letters and Science, SLAS/EOP, the Ethnic Studies Department, and the Social Welfare department.
